Portraits for Paws: Get Great Pics, and Help Save Lilly!
Lisa Scarsi takes all sorts of pictures, but one of her
most-special specialties is pet photography. And, during the month of
February, booking any sort of photo session with Lisa Scarsi Photography
will help a particular pet in crisis.
Lilly is a homeless, 6-year-old Pomeranian with a bladder stone.
She lost her human companion to cancer six months ago, and has spent the
past five months at Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets.
She will eventually be looking for a new family to love and be loved
by, but not before she has surgery to have the bladder stone removed.
Lilly is friendly to humans and dogs, alike. (Cats, not so much.)
At only 5 lbs., she would would make a great companion for the right
feline-free person or family. But that bladder stone -- which can't be
shrunk via medication -- is threatening both her life and her chance to
find her new forever home. The surgery and aftercare will cost between $800 and $1500.
And that's where Lisa Scarsi Photography comes in. Book a photo
session with Lisa Scarsi Photography during the month of February
(whether for pet photography, maternity photography, family portraits,
senior pictures, or just to get professional pics of your kids), and 30%
of your session fee will be donated to Friends of Orange County's
Homeless Pets to help with paying for Lilly's much-needed surgery.
As much as Lisa would love to take your picture, she'd also like for you to know that donations can made directly to FOCHP, too! Click here, if you simply want to donate to Lilly, or contact Lisa Scarsi Photography to get great photos while helping a great dog!

FOCHP is currently seeking foster homes for dogs and puppies of all ages and sizes! Please consider opening your hearts and your homes to a dog, puppy, cat or kitten in need of love!!!
Why Foster?
Our organization is always in need of foster homes. The more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save! The typical duration for a foster home is between 1- 2 weeks.
As a foster volunteer, not only will you be providing a dog with the 1-on-1 attention it so desperately craves; you will be giving yourself a chance to see what it would be like to have a dog companion without the permanent commitment or you may be giving your current dog a playmate to keep him/her company.
FOCHP will provide the food and if necessary we cover medical.
There are so many dogs and puppies in need that we are typically able to find a dog or puppy that will fit into your lifestyle and family. Many of our dogs are in boarding until they find their forever homes. They would love a foster home to give them a break from the boarding.
Fostering a dog or puppy gives you the satisfaction knowing you have helped save the life of one of these wonderful pets!
